Feet Forward and Roots Music Project present the 1st annual Forward Palooza, a benefit concert for the Boulder unhoused. Two super talented Colorado bands join forces to raise money for those in most need. Your tickets include incredibly entertaining dance music and appetizers. All proceeds benefit Boulder non-profit, Feet Forward.. Feet Forward is a peer-led nonprofit built on the foundation of lived experience with homelessness. We provide peer support and navigation services along with barrier-free pathways to stability, including housing. We leverage our community trust to build the relationships necessary to get people engaged in services and to provide the support necessary for people to succeed in housing.
Los Cheesies are an insanely wild high energy fusion band of mostly rock, ska, reggae rap, and psychedelic Cheese with the influence of other genres. Gringos uniting with Mexicanos, we bring a unique and super fun, comical, and upbeat style. We play mostly our own wild and unique original music and also throw in Cheesified covers from the 80s and 90s. Our first album, “Que What,” was released in 2016, and we will be releasing our second album, “Smoking Time,” in 2023. Live the Los Cheesies experience, The Future of America!!
Grupo Huitzlopochtli Danza are originally from Mexico and now based in Denver for over 35 years. These dances and ceremonies have been practiced their our ancestors for over 500 years and is still practiced today.
The Saints play originals and cover tunes, they mix it up, playing funk, blues, R&B, gospel, and rock. The Saints four vocalists all sing lead, providing an exceptional variety of sound for the listener, and their four part harmonies will absolutely lift your spirits. The joy they experience while playing is obvious and extremely contagious. With two guitarists trading leads and the rhythm section holding down the bottom, The Saints will take you down to New Orleans for a full night of groovin' revelry.
