On Sunday, February 22, St. Peter’s welcomes special guest author & activist Lisa Sharon Harper. At a free event in the church (Third & Pine Streets) at 11:30 AM, Ms. Harper will discuss her newest book “Fortune: How Race Broke My Family And The World–And How To Repair It All.” Before the event, Ms. Harper will be the guest preacher at our 10 AM Sunday Worship Service. All are welcome!Ms. Harper is the author of several books, including the critically acclaimed “The Very Good Gospel: How Everything Wrong can be Made Right.” A columnist at Sojourners Magazine and an Auburn Theological Seminary Senior Fellow, Ms. Harper writes extensively on shalom and governance, immigration reform, health care reform, poverty, racial and gender justice, climate change, and transformational civic engagement.
