Free public opening of The Honeycomb Network's yearly summer exhibition Fortaleza Y Flow!

Fortaleza Y Flow is an annual themed exhibition that honors Puerto Rican local and diasporic cultura. This year's theme is "Las Borinqueñas" An immersive exhibition honoring Boricua women pioneers. Featuring a special installation gallery of the women of the Young Lords in Chicago.

This immersive and interactive exhibition honors such Boricua pioneers as Luisa Capetillo, Mariana Bracetti, Ruth Fernandez and more!

In addition, get a view of our special installation room "ENCENDIDAS" dedicated solely to the women of the Young Lords in Chicago as well as the women helping to lead the New Era Young Lords across the nation. Meet some of the pioneers of this movement here in Chicago and learn about the femme activists leading the movements currently in Puerto Rico.
