Originally launched in 2012, the mission of the Fort Wayne 1x1:10 Project is to systematically document the city of Fort Wayne, Indiana by creating and revealing a diverse portrait of our city, one square at a time. These images were exhibited at, brand new at the time, Wunderkammer Company. Ten years have passed, we tasked the public with looking at how our city has changed in the last decade. Each month, using a map of Fort Wayne divided into a grid, participating photographers photographed the same area, using their preferred photographic style, genre and medium.
Over 700 images were submitted from over 50 participants. These images were juried by a panel of local arts experts down to 120 images which will be printed and exhibited at Wunderkammer Company at a party in honor of their 10 year anniversary.
We will also be raffling off the images with all proceeds going to Humane Fort Wayne. Come see the city through the eyes of artists and take home a piece of the Fort Wayne 1X1 Project yourself!
