Join us in a solemn tribute to the brave men and women who served and sacrificed for our nation. On Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th, 2024, the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery Support Foundation invites ALL riders to participate in a procession ride through the hallowed grounds of Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.Note: Displaying and flying the American flag on your motorcycle is highly encouraged to honor our fallen heroes. There is no registration fee for this event.

The Fort Rosecrans Memorial Day celebration, a revered San Diego tradition, honors the valiant men and women who have fallen in service to our nation. As one of the city’s most significant memorials, it brings the community together on Memorial Day—a day of national mourning established after the Civil War and officially recognized in 1971—to reflect on the sacrifices made by U.S. military personnel. Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, a historic burial site since the 1840s and a California Historical Landmark, stands as a testament to these heroes, marking the final resting place for those lost at San Pasqual and aboard the USS Bennington, and symbolizing the enduring legacy of their sacrifice.
