Fort Morgan Garrison

All,
Some have asked what a schedule would look like, So the schedule would possibly look like:
Friday
-Arrive anytime after 4pm
-Set up in the casemates
-Supper on your own or go up the road to Seabass
Saturday
-Revele at 8am
-Formation Full gear 8:30am
-Flag Raising 9am
-Drill inside fort without jackets 9:30am
-Begin garrison duty on wall and at sally port 10am. Change out sentries every 30 minutes
-Music throughout the day (we have used music to change sentries in the past)
-12pm lunch/watermelon break
-1pm garrison/ sentry duty commences
-2pm if some Federals come, they go out and exchange fire with dentures on wall. We either skirmish , bring federal spies/scouts in for court martial or court martial one of our own
-3pm sentry/garrison duty ends
-4pm living history closed
-5pm fort closes
-5pm dinner in Gulf Shores, Seabass or in your own (can pack up and leave if so desire)
-6pm Beach time
Sunday
-anyone left pack up at 7am
-leave fort before visitors come
Now here’s where anyone who wants to can stay and provide the fort a program on your own for Sunday such as music through the day, Naval impressions or Confederate Impressions.
