Forster Sewage Treatment Plant Open Day

Learn all about what happens after you flush at our free public open day!

The event will begin with a brief presentation at the Forster Civic Centre, before we'll travel by bus to the Forster Sewage Treatment Plant, where one of our operators will provide a guided tour and explain how we take wastewater from your home and treat it to a standard that's safe for release back into the environment. A complimentary lunch will be provided before we continue on to the Tuncurry Recycled Water Treatment Plant, where you'll learn how we treat wastewater to an even higher standard so it can be used to irrigate sportsfields, public parks and other green spaces. We'll then return by bus to the Forster Civic Centre at the end of the tour.
