🎶 February marks the beginning of a new forró season! 🎶
After a long winter, we're kicking off the season with an incredible concert featuring the wonderful band Forró de Bicicleta (

). Join us on February 15th at 19:30 for a night filled with dancing, live music, and fun!
Forró de Bicicleta in their own words:
Forró de Bicicleta plays swinging Forró music where Brazilian rhythms blend with Nordic tones and jazzy harmonies. With vocals, percussion, violin, accordion, and powerful rhythms, we create a joyful atmosphere that will make it hard for you to keep your feet still.
With a mix of original compositions and traditional classics from the worlds of Forró and Samba, we deliver a varied repertoire that invites both deeply emotional ballads and fast, energetic dance tunes.
The band consists of Mariana Maia on zabumba, pandeiro, and vocals, Miriam Ariana on violin and vocals, Niels Ørts on accordion, and Martin Heap on cavaquinho.

Forró is both a music genre and a dance originating from northeast Brazil. This joyful Brazilian partner dance combines sensual movements, open turns, and a closed embrace, all set to addictive, folky rhythms and enchanting compositions. The forró environment is casual and welcoming—perfect for everyone, regardless of their experience or background.

Efter en lang vinter skyder vi sæsonen i gang med en fantastisk koncert med det skønne band Forró de Bicicleta (video med bandet:
