Buts visés par la formation :
• Former des artistes, des créateurs.trices et des travailleurs.euses indépendant.e.s afin d’actualiser leurs compétences techniques et réflexives entourant les pratiques en mixage musical et production sonore.
• Autonomiser et professionnaliser les artistes en lien avec des pratiques de studio implémentées à domicile (home studio).
• Offrir du temps aux participant.e.s pour créer, pour connaître leurs pairs et se mettre en réseau autour d’un média spécifique.
L’avènement des studios de création musicale “home studio” et les transformations profondes des méthodologies de production et nouveaux critères de diffusion numérique comportent une série d’enjeux pour les créateurs.trices indépendant.e.s. La formation Mixage musical numérique et hybride vise à outiller les artistes à effectuer un mixage sonore efficace et de manière autonome pour laisser plus de place à l’écoute et à la créativité. Training Goals:
• To train artists, creators and freelancers in order to update their technical and reflective skills surrounding music mixing and sound production practices.
• Empower and professionalize artists in relation to home studio practices.
• To offer participants time to create, to get to know their peers and to network around a specific medium.
The advent of home studios and the profound transformations in production methodologies and new criteria for digital distribution present a series of challenges for independent creators. The Digital and Hybrid Music Mixing course aims at equipping artists to perform an efficient sound mixing in an autonomous way to leave more room for listening and creativity.
