Come experience the power of music, connection, and community at the Forget Me Not Chorus Spring Program Concert. After weeks of joyful rehearsals filled with laughter, learning, and friendship, our chorus of 50 singers, the largest group in our history, is ready to share what they have created together. Designed for individuals living with Alzheimer’s, related dementias, or memory loss and their caregivers, this inspiring performance celebrates resilience, creativity, and the strength of community. All are welcome to attend this free concert and celebrate with us.The Forget Me Not Chorus is based on a model from The Giving Voice Chorus Initiative.
We live and sing on the land of the Dena’ina people. The State of Alaska recognizes 23 surviving Alaska Native languages as official languages. We include lyrics in the language of the Yup’ik people to recognize and honor that Alaska Native Peoples are here today and have been since time immemorial, and to celebrate the generations to come who will carry these languages and traditions forward.
