Forever our Waka

With the heaviest hearts, we share that our beautiful mama went home to be with the Lord this morning. She was so much more than a mother; she was a grandmother, a friend, a protector, and a source of unconditional love. She was one of a kind—a little over the top, a little crazy, and full of personality! She loved with her whole heart and gave us memories and stories we will cherish forever. To her granddaughter, she was Waka, a bond so special that words could never explain it. We find comfort knowing she is in Heaven, and knowing Mama, she’s already making herself at home and keeping Heaven just as lively as she kept us down here! There will never be another like her.
We will honor and celebrate her beautiful life next Saturday, October 17th, on the water in Panama City Beach. Everyone is welcome to join us beforehand, with the ceremony beginning at 6:00 PM. Snacks will be provided, and at sunset, we will release floating lanterns in her honor. Please come if you can. She cherished you all.
Mama, thank you for the laughter, the lessons, and the beautiful, crazy, unforgettable life you lived. Your love and spirit will live on through your children, grandchildren, and everyone whose life you touched. We will keep telling your stories and sharing the memories that made you so special. Until we meet again, we will carry your love and laughter in our hearts, finding peace in knowing this goodbye is not forever. Hug your mamas a little tighter and never take a moment with your loved ones for granted. Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever our Mama. Forever our Waka. ❤️
