We’ll begin the class with a series of loose, pressure – free drawings designed to warm up the hand and loosen the drawing process. Through continuous – line drawing and a quick 15–second gesture sketch, you’ll learn to observe tulips as flowing forms filled with movement, rhythm, and energy. From there, we’ll explore, adding shadows and depth, preparing your sketch or a dynamic transition into paint.
Once the foundation is set, you’ll sketch your tulip composition onto canvas and bring it to life using thick, impasto acrylic techniques working with pallet, knives and brushes, I’ll guide you step-by- step through layering color, building texture, in creating a vibrant, dimensional, painting that captures light, depth, and romance.
This class is designed to be both educational and enjoyable, making it welcoming for beginners, while still inspiring for more experienced artists. You’ll leave with a finished tulip painting on canvas, new creative skills, and a deeper understanding of how to create expressive, three – dimensional artwork.
