Through its Dance Up Close/East Bay series, Shawl-Anderson Dance Center is pleased to present artists Clarissa Rivera Dyas and ainsley tharp in forever failing, April 24-26, 2025 at the Parker Electric Foundation in Oakland. The duo highlights failure as a form of protest, as a way to negate capitalism’s obsession with the perfect product, and uncover new mythologies of becoming.

Please note that this performance takes place in a building with a small ramp to enter the space and a small ramp to get to the seating area. Seating is limited to 50.
