Blessed by God with the gift of voice and a grandmother who filled her heart with her beautiful songs, Rainere learned at an early age that she could use her voice to lift a soul and bring joy to all who heard her sing. An early focus on R&B ballads and appreciation for the music of the legend Donna Summer, Rainere developed and performed a tribute show featuring Donna’s greatest hits.
While still a staple in her repertoire, she found her audiences equally enjoyed her variety of pop, soft rock, and the occasional “torch” song to create the right mood at the right time. Rainere’s song list spans 6 decades with the appropriate presence and performance to match the audience and venue.
Rainere has captivated audiences worldwide including Australia, Mexico and Puerto Rico, as well as selling out venues across the United States. Nationally she has performed and sold out several casinos including Sam’s Town in Las Vegas and The Hard Rock Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Additionally, she has performed to rave revues in performing art centers, theaters and music festivals from California to New York to Florida. Rainere has had the privilege of sharing the bill with many music greats of the 70’s & 80’s, such as Evelyn Champagne King, Tavares, The Stylistics and France Jodi just to name a few. One of the highlights of her career was performing Donna Summer’s hit “Heaven Knows” with Joe Esposito who recorded it with Donna in 1978. To the delight of audiences, Rainere recorded a version of Donna Summer’s “Hot Stuff” that is featured on the Hot Stuff Wicked Wheel slot machine in casinos nationwide.
With music in her blood and songs in her heart, she continues to entertain audiences of all ages who enjoy music from different eras and appreciate the pioneers and contemporaries who brought them to us. While Rainere’s song list is ever evolving, her desire to share her gift of voice and the music of the legendary Donna Summer with others remains constant. It is her desire to that keeps her singing and instills in others the joy of music.
