Forest Bathing in Pacific Spirit Regional Park
About this Event
With the intention of slowing down, you will be guided in the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku through a series of invitations to simply notice nature through the senses.
For comfort and relaxation, the group will have a designated nature space to wander and explore. After 90 minutes of guided sensory practices, the group will gather to create forest art with items collected from the forest floor. We will conclude with time for reflections and tea.
About Shinrin-yoku:
The practice of Shinrin-yoku is supported by scientific research which indicates that forest bathing helps improve nervous system regulation, increase focus, enhance mood, sleep, and overall wellness.
