Forest bathing, also known as "shinrin-yoku," is a practice of intentionally spending time in nature--particularly in but not limited to forests--to connect with the natural world through all of the senses. It's not about exercise or hiking, but rather about slowing down and immersing oneself in the natural atmosphere, focusing on the sights, sounds, smells, textures, and tastes of the environment.
In this walk, certified forest therapy guide, Annie Wegner LeFort, will guide you into connecting with the More-Than-Human-World to have a unique experience in nature.
Please arrive with weather-appropriate footwear and clothing and other essentials, and also an open mind.
RSVP to [email protected] to register by August 12. You MUST register ahead of time so that you can receive details about the walk (meeting location and other notes.) Minimum of 4 registrants to hold the walk.
$10-20 suggested donation
