Take a Break. Take a Breath. 🌿Join us at Coppell Nature Park for a Forest Bathing experience led by ANFT certified Forest Bathing Guide, Bethany Kilgore.
Participants have described it as a "gentle awakening to the beauty around you" and a unique way to "de-stress and relax." As your guide, I help you connect with nature through your senses. Every forest bathing session is different as I chose parks that offer a variety of experiences. Many parks are hidden gems that I want to highlight to you!
During this 2-hour session, I'll lead you through various sensory activities. The experience will include some sitting and light walking (no more than 1 mile).
What to expect:
- Introduction to the park
- Gentle walking on a trail, totaling no more than 1 mile
- Invitations to explore nature using your senses, aimed at slowing down and giving your body and mind a break
- Sharing and listening moments. Participation in sharing is optional.
- Hot tea and snacks (provided) to conclude the experience
Special Instructions
What to bring:
I recommend wearing pants and trail or hiking shoes for comfort. Most of this area has unpaved trails. Bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray. You may want to bring a small blanket or towel if you prefer sitting during some parts of the practice.

Weather disclosure
If weather does not allow us to have our event or recent weather has caused the trail to close, I'll provide you a code to use for a future session.
