Back on Track and Lisa from Hinoki Forest bathing are collaborating to bring you a wonderful experience of destressing, relaxation and rebooting in nature.
Having spoking to many members of Back on Track, we are all busy people and find it difficult to build time for ourselves, or keeping regular meditation or even quiet time in our schedules. However, our brains and bodies need to switch back to our para-sympathetic nervous system regulary to switch off the busy brain and overstimulations to create balance in life.
This is your chance to reset your system in 2 hours and benefit from it for weeks to follow.
What’s included?
2 hours of relaxation, destressing and enhancing your wellbeing
A slow mindful guided sensory journey through the forest
Use mindfulness and meditation to tune into your senses
Tune into the energy of trees to find your connection with nature
A uniquely authentic Japanese influenced woodland tea ceremony
A little info about Hinoki Forest Bathing
Born in Hawaii to American and Japanese parents, Lisa is one of the best Forest bathing guides in the country (I say that from personal experience and from the reviews she gets for her events). She shares her own culture with passion in all her sessions, with influences from the Japanese tea ceremony and wabi-sabi to the spirit of aloha and love of nature. You can read more about Lisa and what Forest bathing is about here.
During our HINOKI Forest Bathing, walking slowly (no more than 1-1/2 miles) on a mindful sensory journey through the forest, helps us to relax, destress and enhance our wellbeing. Sunset and Twilight are times to let go of the day’s stress and worries. We use mindfulness to tune into our senses and take in the relaxing atmosphere of the trees and find our connection to nature.
We start our sensory journey the Chantries, where the light dances through the beech leaves onto the forest floor. We finish our session at a place where a view of sunset is possible and a taste of Japanese influenced woodland tea, letting go of any worries and stresses.
