Join Janusz Curylo master nature guide as we create a safe space for Shinrin Yoku. Afterwards, we will brew tea in circle from the forest.
To fully practice Shinrin Yoku, is to be able to completely immerse in nature. With the abundance of wild animals in Alberta, that can sometimes be intimidating, as we always have to be on the alert, and therefore not 100% in the 'zone'.
Janusz and I have the intention of providing this space in the heart of our forests for you. We will hold the safe space and guide you through this practice for optimum results. Whether you have worked with Shinrin Yoku or this is a new practice for you, we can promise your experience will be exactly what it is you need.
Afterwards we will join in a circle to sip on wild crafted forest tea that Sandy, an avid forager and herbalist will make for us. The ultimate in communing with nature.
You will need to be dressed for Alberta weather. As this is not a hike, but time in nature, we want to make sure you will be warm. We recommend warm clothes, maybe even a sleeping bag or blanket to wrap around.
Please bring your own mug for the tea.
Location will be provided closer to the date. Plan on maximum 90 minute drive from Calgary, more likely 45 minutes/60 minutes.
This is a weather dependant event. If it blizzards, rains or drops below minus 10 celsius. We will be postponing it. At this point we will offer a refund or to transfer you to the next one.
