It's time to slow down and find CALM with us and experience the therapeutic benefits of the Japanese practice of Forest Bathing in Himeji Japanese Garden. Plus we have a go at writing Haiku a Japanese form of poetry.
This is a time to notice, relax and find words in nature over 90 blissful minutes.
Lisa Murphy is a certified Forest Therapy Guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy.
We respectfully acknowledge that our gathering is on Kaurna Land traditionally owned by the Kaurna People.
We include light refreshments and tea at the conclusion of our session.
A list of essential and suggested comfort items and location/meet spot information will be emailed to attendees 48 hours prior to the event subject to the weather forecast.
We consider this event to be accessible for those with mobility restrictions. Please feel free to contact us to discuss your needs. We give options for participants to walk, sit, lay or stand for up to 15 mins at a time during the session.
If you experience disability and would like a support worker to attend free with you, please request this at time of booking. We are committed to providing an inclusive experience for everyone.
We suggest anyone under 18 attend with an adult and this event is recommended for those aged 15 and above.
