Registration Required!Join us for a unique, high-stakes evening of science and suspense. The lab is open, the clock is counting down, and a brilliant scientist has been murdered, with a witness permanently blinded. Can you use real forensic science to solve the crime and stop a bioterrorism plot?
This is not a costume party or a haunted house. It is an immersive, hands-on scientific investigation where you and your team will race against the clock to solve a scientific puzzle.
This has limited seating and only 30 tickets are available.
Your Mission: A brilliant scientist, Dr. Evelyn Reed, has been murdered to cover up a bioterrorism plot. A witness to the crime was also a victim, exposed to a chemical that caused irreversible blindness to prevent identification of the murderer. You and your team will use professional-grade lab equipment to solve the crime, and the team that solves the puzzle first will win a promotion to "Detective First Grade," which lets you lead future teams and get a discount on future events.
Your Tools:
A real centrifuge and PCR machine to analyze DNA evidence.
A powerful incubator to cultivate a microbe that, in the narrative, is a key component of a biological weapon.
Authentic luminol and microscopes to uncover hidden evidence and analyze trace materials.
A variety of fun and scientific materials to help you solve the crime, including fingerprint lifting, chemical and toolmark analysis, and toxicology.
What's Included:
A high-value, immersive experience that combines a scientific education with a compelling narrative, part of which is a true story.
Hands-on access to a professional-grade biochemistry lab and all of its equipment.
Pizza and beverages will be provided.
Prizes for the top three teams.
Tickets are $100 and are available now. Only 30 spots available. Book your spot today!
*Note: all compounds and pathogens are actually safe and non-toxic variations to imitate the narrative.
