About this Event

Dr. Catherine Wilson is Associate Professor of Public Administration at Villanova University where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in nonprofit management, strategic communication, and leadership ethics.  Her research lies at the intersection of nonprofit management, immigrant integration, and community engagement.  Dr. Wilson is currently writing a manuscript which examines the impact of the foreign-born and immigrant serving organizations – both historically speaking and present-day – on shaping American citizenship. 

She serves as a board member of the Valley Forge Park Alliance and Catholic Charities of Philadelphia.  Dr. Wilson received a B.A. in Philosophy with a Concentration in Latin American Studies from Villanova University, an M.A. in Latin American Studies from the Edmund J. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
