Som publikum kan du vælge at ligge eller sidde komfortabelt på yogamåtter, omgivet af dæmpet belysning. Musikprogrammet byder på værker af franske komponister som Debussy, Ravel, Satie, Fauré og Chopin. Billetten giver adgang til Glyptoteket hele dagen, hvor du kan nyde roen og gå på opdagelse i museets samlinger. Der vil være yogamåtter og tæpper til låns på museet, og det er ikke tilladt at medbringe egen yogamåtte.

OM TANJA ZAPOLSKI
Tanja Zapolski er en af Danmarks mest prominente klassiske pianister, som forbløffer publikum i ind- og udlandet med sin virtuose spilleteknik og sit stærke musikalske udtryk.
Med ukrainske rødder og uddannelse fra Det Kgl. Danske Musikkonservatorium har hun optrådt som solist med førende orkestre og dirigenter i både Danmark og udlandet. Tanja Zapolski har modtaget en lang række priser og hædersbevisninger, og udover sin koncertvirksomhed medvirker hun bl.a. i TV-programmer som Den klassiske musikquiz på DR og Piano på TV2.

With French piano works, one of Denmark’s leading pianists, Tanja Zapolski, offers a backdrop for the newly opened museum presentations of the works of Edgar Degas and Paul Gauguin. Get yourself ready to let peace and presence fill both body and mind.
As an audience member, we invite you to lie down or sit comfortably on yoga mats, surrounded by dim lighting. The music program presents French composers as Debussy, Ravel, Satie, Fauré and Chopin. Lying in beautiful surroundings, you can immerse yourself in music from the era of Impressionism and experience it in a new and sensory way.

The ticket grants access to the Glyptotek all day, where you can enjoy the tranquility and explore the museum’s collections. Yoga mats and blankets will be available for loan at the museum. You are not allowed to bring your own yoga mat.

ABOUT TANJA ZAPOLSKI
Tanja Zapolski is one of Denmark’s most prominent classical pianists, who amazes audiences both at home and abroad with her virtuosic playing technique and strong musical expression.
With Ukrainian roots and education from the Royal Danish Academy of Music, she has performed as a soloist with leading orchestras and conductors in both Denmark and abroad. Tanja Zapolski has received numerous awards and honors, and in addition to her concert activities, she also appears in TV programs such as The Classical Music Quiz on DR and Piano on TV2 (The main TV channels of Denmark).

ABOUT THE FRENCH COLLECTION AT THE GLYPTOTEK
Besides the two newly opened presentations of Edgar Degas (read more here) and Paul Gauguin (read more here), the Glyptotek’s collection of French and Danish sculpture from 1800 to 1920 features works by some of the most highly acclaimed French and Danish sculptors of the 19th and early 20th centuries. The exhibition reflects the huge range of motifs, styles and expressions that characterise the sculpture of the period. Read more here.
