Come and join us for a whole day of doing what we love! This workshop offers us the luxury of TIME. We will spend a whole day exploring basic principles of contact improvisation. Having much better time than in our weekly trainings, we will explore some of the patterns underlying movement developement to help us increase awareness of our own body and movement possibilities, finding more support and freedom in our dance.We will travel on to explore qualities of touch, finding ways to modulate the tone, experiment with giving and receiving weight, play with being in and out of balance and basically enjoy having plenty of time with all of that and each other. And yes, there will also be time for jamming!
Movement sessions in the morning and afternoon, with a nice long lunch break to digest and rest.
Kimpro Aarhus will buy som snacks, coffe and tea.
Bring your lunch so we can eat together in the little kitchen, or, if we are (very) lucky with the weather, outside on the gras.
Make sure to bring comfortable clothes in different layers. Long loose pants with no zippers or buttons are best, kneepads if you have.
Hours: 10-18. Doors open at 9.30. Please be in time and ready to start at 10.
