CITIZEN OF THE YEAR GALA DINNER | SUN 25 JAN | 6PM - 10PM | FORBES TOWN HALLCelebrate the achievements of outstanding individuals in the Forbes community at the Citizen of the Year Gala Dinner.
The evening will feature entertainment, catering, and the official awards ceremony recognising the achievements of outstanding residents.
The ceremony will include presentations for the Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, and Senior Citizen of the Year.
Tickets are free but essential and must be secured by Friday 16 January 2026 via 123Tix or by contacting Forbes Shire Council.
Dress code is semi-formal.

Start your Australia Day celebrations with a community breakfast at the picturesque Lake Forbes.
Supported by Rotary, this breakfast is open to all, with gold coin donations welcomed. Enjoy a relaxed morning by the lake with family and friends.
PARTY IN THE PARK & FIREWORKS | MON 26 JAN | 6PM - 9PM | LIONS PARK
Finish the day at Party in the Park in Lions Park, culminating in the spectacular Battyes Bridge fireworks display at 9pm.
Entertainment for the evening will be provided by Greg (“Hushy”) Hush.
Bring your own chair or picnic blanket and enjoy a variety of food options and the family-friendly atmosphere.
