Hello Foraging Friends,
Summer has arrived! We will kick off our first group forage of the season at Maria's House.
You will learn to identify plant foods and discover their uses and benefits:
* Cattails
* Multiflora Roses
*Autumn Olive
* Other green foods

Nature is unpredictable, below are a few things to know before we go, to keep our excursion safe, light and fun!
*Please, BYO water and maybe a piece of fruit.
*journal and pens for writing.
*Where comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather.
*Only take photos of the plants or trees not attendants.
Optional:
*Sunscreen
*Tick repellent; will be provided before the walk, if you don't have your own.
Registration helps us plan safe, enjoyable learning experiences and support future community programming. Foraging Friends is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to environmental education and ethical foraging in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
