Join the authors of Foraging Texas: Finding, Identifying, and Preparing Wild Edibles in Texas for an introduction to foraging wild edible plants! Husband and wife team, Eric Knight and Stacy Coplin, will lecture on the important things you need to know in order to forage safely and sustainably. After the lecture, they will lead an edible plant walk around the Garden followed by a book signing and a tasting of some of the recipes from their book. Whether you're brand new to foraging or a weekend forager, this class will help hone your identification skills and build confidence in utilizing safe and ecologically sustainable foraging practices.
