🌿✨ Magical Foraging & Crafting the Hag Torch✨🔥The Living Feminine is so excited to be co-hosting this gathering with Treasure Valley Witches for their 8th annual foraging trip🌿
This is the first of two events leading us into the Summer Solstice 🌞
🌿 Foraging Day May 24th, 2026
We’ll meet at the Albertsons (closest to McDonald’s) at 10:30 AM, then caravan out toward Grimes Creek.
Along the way we’ll be foraging and learning about:
* Mullein 🌿 (our main plant ally)
* Nettle
* Sage
* Black Hawthorn
* Elderberry
* Plus plant identification (including poison oak + pokeberry)
Afterward, we’ll head to the creek to relax, eat lunch, and begin preparing our mullein and wrapping sage bundles.
We’ll plan to head back around 3–4 PM
🔥 What this is all leading into
This is the beginning of our journey into creating hag torches ritual candles made from mullein stalks 🔥
We’ll come back together on the Summer Solstice (June 21st) to craft them and celebrate together ✨
🧺 What to bring
Water • Lunch/snacks • Sunscreen • Chair
Outdoor clothing • Cutting tool • Basket/paper bag • Gloves
✨ We share; if you don’t have something, we’ve got you covered.
🤍 Good to know
Mullein is abundant here in Idaho, so if you can’t make the foraging day, you can still join us for the Solstice gathering. We’ll have materials available.
This is more than just foraging, it’s about connection, community, and working with the land in a meaningful way 🌿
Save the date + stay close… more details coming soon 👀✨
We can’t wait to gather with you 🔥🤍
