Hi DCWO Supporters,

We're excited to be putting on our final concert for 2024 " For the Love of Music in Spring", Sunday 24th November in St Paul's Cathedral in the Octagon.
A good number of you may know our conductor for this concert, Errol Moore - a longstanding member of the Dunedin music community who was DCWO's Musical Director for many years, many moons ago. It's been great to have him back conducting the group!
Errol has chosen a lineup of evocative and lively pieces, from David Woodcock's "Forest Sketches" depicting native NZ birds through to Curnow's "Celestial Celebration" and Prokofiev's "Love of three Oranges". We've also got a nod to the upcoming Christmas season, a few popular classics and a couple of quirky wee numbers just to mix it up.
