Perrier-Jouët & a Long Lunch Worth Toasting
About this Event

Champagne is more than something you save for a toast. It’s a story, a style, a mood and when paired with the right food, it becomes a proper experience.

For our next For the Love of Champagne long lunch, we’re celebrating one of the great Champagne houses, Perrier-Jouët, with an afternoon of food, Champagne and conversation at Henry and the Fox.

Hosted by a Perrier-Jouët brand ambassador Andrea Giraud (@andrealoveschampagne) alongside our own wine guru Terry P, this lunch is designed to be informative without taking itself too seriously. You’ll learn about the history, house style and personality behind Perrier-Jouët, while Terry keeps the afternoon moving with his usual warmth, humour and larger-than-life energy.

Perrier-Jouët is one of Champagne’s most recognisable houses, founded in Épernay in 1811. Known for its elegant, floral style and strong Chardonnay influence, the house has long been associated with art, nature and celebration. Its famous Belle Epoque bottle, decorated with Japanese anemones by Art Nouveau artist Émile Gallé in 1902, has become an icon in its own right.

Perrier-Jouët is known for Champagne with elegance, finesse and a signature floral style. This lunch gives guests the chance to experience the house beyond the toast — through food, storytelling and a line-up that includes some of its most iconic cuvées.

Executive Chef Malcolm Williams has created a six-course menu to match the occasion, moving from scallop mousseline and French onion consommé through to Murray cod, duck breast and blood orange cheesecake.

This lunch is for people who enjoy more than just a good glass of Champagne. It’s for those who love the full experience — the story behind the wine, the thinking behind the food, and the way the two come together at the table.

With Perrier-Jouët Champagnes poured across six matched courses, Executive Chef Malcolm Williams in the kitchen, and Terry P bringing his usual energy, humour and deep wine knowledge to the room, it’s set to be a long lunch with real personality.

Expect great Champagne, thoughtful food, relaxed conversation and a room led by people who genuinely love what they do. For anyone interested in fine wine, food pairing and the craft behind a memorable dining experience, this is exactly the kind of afternoon worth booking.
