This year marks a significant milestone for For The Culture KS as the organization hosts its third annual Gala on July 24, 2026, followed by the long-anticipated return of The Fest on July 25, 2026. Together, these signature events reflect the organization’s continued growth, resilience, and expanding impact across Kansas.
Each year, For The Culture KS has strengthened its reach and influence by creating intentional spaces that celebrate Black culture while fostering connection, opportunity, and visibility.
The Gala serves as the organization’s premier fundraising and recognition event—an elevated evening dedicated to reflection, reinvestment, and honoring leaders and partners who are actively shaping a stronger future for their communities.
The Fest follows as a vibrant, family-centered celebration of culture, creativity, entrepreneurship, and unity. Bringing together artists, creatives, businesses, vendors, and community members from across the state, the event offers a welcoming space to experience the history, identity, and joy of African American culture through art and expression.
This year’s theme underscores a defining moment for the organization. Empowerment is no longer aspirational—it has translated into measurable impact. That impact is evident in lives touched, opportunities created, and partnerships forged. For The Culture KS is not standing still.
