Santa isn't who you think he is! What if you found out he is actually a Canadian criminal? On Christmas Eve, Santa hires a locksmith (Melvin) to help him get into an apartment building in New York that doesn't have a chimney. Impressed by Melvin's wit, he pays him to come along for the journey.
