About this Event
The workshop will begin at 10:00am and we will start with an Introduction by this session's host, award-winning director Nicole Charles.
Through this session Nicole will provide an insight into her approaches to accessing information about character through the text A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennesee Williams, and the practical methods for actors to freely create and apply to scene work in a rehearsal room context.
The session will include attention and presence development, hotseating, improvisation and scene work.
Theworkshop will end with a sharing of short scenes, with feedback.
This is the first in a series of workshops, led by Nicole.
To give good attention to each actor, spaces are limited - only 17 spaces available.
The event will close at 14:00.
