• 3-month weekly walking club that visits a different City park every montho Goal is 30,000 steps total for each park
o Participants will receive a pedometer tracking device
o Participants who complete 30,000 steps for all three parks with a total of 90,000 steps will receive a Footsteps in the Park completion shirt
o Shirt collection date to be determined
• Tuesdays from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
o Windmill Park: May 4, 11, 18 and 25
o George S. Gerber Park: June 1, 8, 22 and 29 (no walking club on June 15)
o Sabal Pines Park: July 6, 13, 20 and 27
• All ages; children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult
• $10 for Coconut Creek residents; $15 for non-residents
• Held at Windmill Park 700 Lyons Road, George S. Gerber Park 4715 NW 30th Street, and Sabal Pines Park 5005 39th Avenue
• Participants must adhere to the City’s COVID-19 safety guidelines; facial masks required
• Registration details:
o Registration is ongoing until filled, limited to 9 participants
o Online registration at www.CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or walk-in registration at the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard and the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road
o Must have a WebTrac account for online registration
