Tour Overview

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Boise's first Foothills Levy passed by 59% of Boise voters on May 22, 2001. Join us for a guided walking tour to explore the origins, conditions, and events surrounding the Boise Foothill’s environment, as well as the impact of the levy on Boise’s open space over the last two and half decades.

Parking

Please plan ahead as parking at the Foothills Learning Center (FLC) is limited. Additional parking is available at the nearby Grove Trailhead located off Sunset Peak Road. Carpooling, walking, or biking via the all-weather Owl's Roost Trail is recommended. ADA parking is available on site with a wide gravel pathway providing access to the FLC building and backyard.

Accommodations

The City of Boise is committed to ensuring equal access to all public meetings, programs, and services. Reasonable accommodations and effective communication—such as ASL interpretation, materials in alternative formats and language access—are available at no cost to facilitate participation.
