Special Guest Instructor Zach Chrisinger teaches a Foot-powered Lathe Bowl Turning Workshop at The Craft School. This class uses a traditional foot-powered Pole Lathe to turn a wooden eating bowl or plate. Students will be learning turning techniques, and bowl design and will leave with one bowl or plate.
Using a Foot-Powered Lathe is a physically intensive process that requires a fair amount of stamina and coordination and may not be suitable for all students. Please reach out with questions about whether this class is right for you to [email protected]
Participants must be at least 16 years-old. This is a full-day course. Cost of registration includes all tools and materials.
