Foodies + New Friends: Elk Grove | DUOS EDITION

Our series groups together complete strangers for a fun night out. That's right, you sign up, and we book the restaurant. We know life can get busy. Don't forget to spend time making new friends! Build your community with us while supporting locally owned businesses.

The DUOS EDITION is for individuals who'd like to be paired up with someone of the same gender and same age group for a 1-on-1 dinner meet!

Our pages are set to $USD. Your ticket can be used multiple times, not just once! Becoming a member gives you invites for gatherings not limited to what's listed on Eventbrite's calendar.

Each gathering is held at a different restaurant. These dinners are not directly associated with the restaurants, but are simply based on a table reservation via Opentable or Resy or other reservation platforms. The pin on the map is not the location but a placeholder since each location changes week to week, so please do not go to the pin.

How does it work?

-Select your age group at Ticketing.

-A day on the calendar is simply an option, but that may not mean others have signed up for that time slot. When you register for a date, we can build a night around your availability, however, if others are not available that day we can transfer you to another date.

-After you register, you'll be emailed an introduction message + questionnaire regarding age, interests/hobbies, and favorite foods. This guides us to where we will secure a table reservation. We'll stay in touch with you leading up to the night of the dinner. Expect a Final Details email the day of.

-Please try your best to register weeks in advance, if possible.

*Your registration does not include your individual food and drink purchases. A paid ticket simply makes you more committed to actually showing up, supports our team's endeavors, and contributes to The Comeunity Project (see below for info).

*These outings are intended to help people make friends. These are not dating gatherings. 🧍‍♂️ 🧍‍♀️

*If you sign up the day of, there's a risk of already reaching our maximum attendees for the night, or not having enough interest to move forward with a table reservation. Simply email [email protected] for info prior to signing up if you'd like.

Our vision is simple: we take the no gimmicks approach to networking. No need for yet another app to take up space on your phone - just four walls and a roof and good food for people to connect :) We coordinate with you directly, human-to-human. 🤖
