About this Event

Join us for Foodie Fest 2025, hosted in partnership with Black Restaurant Week and the Milam Street Kitchen Incubator & Community Kitchen, a program of Southern University at Shreveport (MS KICK). This family-friendly community festival brings together food, culture, and resiliency in the heart of Shreveport.

Experience a day filled with:
🍴 Delicious offerings from local food trucks and culinary entrepreneurs
👨🏾‍🍳 Chef demos highlighting creative dishes and cooking techniques
🎨 Face painting and family activities for all ages
🎶 A lively celebration of food, community, and culture

This year’s festival will be hosted by Chef Mel, Foodie Fest Chef Ambassador and winner of the 2024 Golden Fork Award.
