Join us for light refreshments, conversation, and creative practice rooted in North African cultural identity. Joining together to make traditional Libyan food, bourek, participants will be invited to take
part in a collaborative workshop that examines cooking as an art as well as a social practice. Using food preparation methods that echo Gargum’s

creative practice, where her works simultaneously take up large spaces while also being taken apart so that they are small enough to carry.
