Join us to learn about the intersection between food waste, hunger and climate change. We'll watch two short films, "Abundance" and "Food Waste is the World's Dumbest Problem" and then hear from local experts about food rescue and justice and local and state food waste management programs. Our speakers are:
Taylor Moore, Director of Food Rescue Northwest Michigan
Sarna Salzman, Executive Director of SEEDS
Complimentary drinks and snacks will be provided.
This is the third in a facilitated film series about various aspects of climate change, how it affects people and the region. Each evening in this series you'll watch a short film or two & then participate in an open discussion about the topic with local enthusiasts and experts.
