Session 1: Health Equity & Food Access in San Antonio / Bexar County
Info: This session will explore the work being done to increase food access in San Antonio and Bexar County. Participants will also be empowered to advocate for access to fresh foods in their community through an interactive civic engagement workshop.

Session 2: Climate Impacts on Local Food Access
Info: As we experience more extreme weather patterns and more unpredictable storms, we must all adapt to what that means for our local and regional food system. Participants will learn about the impacts on local growing practices and how local experts are adapting and planning. Following this discussion, participates will engage in an interactive workshop to implement food-related projects in their neighborhoods.

Session 3: Sustainable Food Production, Processing, and Distribution
Info: As a community, itโs important to understand the livelihoods, operations, and challenges local and regional food producers, processors, and distributors encounter in supplying food to our communities. Participants will learn different ways to support this sector of the food system which will have a sustainable impact on our local food economy. Following this discussion, there will be an interactive workshop that will encourage participants to take an active role in strengthening our local food system.
