About this Event
Course Objectives: Provide trainees with a level of awareness, knowledge and understanding of the food hygiene & HACCP requirements as per the FSAI Training Guidelines Level 2 including: food poisoning, allergen control, cross contamination, HACCP controls for delivery, storage, preparation, cooking, cooling, display, transport, food law
Location: Musgrave Marketplace Robinhood Training Room
Duration: 4 hours (1.30-5.30pm) including course assessment
Cost: €45pp (+booking fee)
Target Audience: In addition to completing level 1 training, level 2 training should be completed by all food handlers who are involved in preparation of high-risk foods this would include restaurant, hotel, pub chefs, nursing home food handlers, retail food handlers, food manufacturing food handlers. Level 2 training should ideally be completed before commencement of starting their job or within 3 months of employment. Trainees must have completed level 1 course or have suitable experience.
All training courses include PDF copies of course notes and trainee certificates. Certificates are valid for up to 2 years.
