Food Safety (HACCP) Level 1

Course Objectives: Provide trainees with a level of awareness, knowledge and understanding of the food hygiene & HACCP requirements as per the FSAI Training Guidelines Level 1 including: personal hygiene, cleaning & sanitisation, pest control, food safety hazards, cross contamination, temperature control, food handler’s legal requirements

Duration: 3 hours (10-1pm) including course assessment Cost: €35pp (+booking fee)

Target Audience: This course applies to all food handlers and non-food handlers who work in the food business sector including food service, manufacturing and retail. Training applies whether they are full-time or part-time members of staff, seasonal or occasional workers or voluntary staff members. Level 1 training should ideally be completed before commencement of starting their job or within 1 month of employment. No previous food safety training experience required. Ideal for new starts/induction.

All training courses include PDF copies of course notes and trainee certificates. Certificates are valid for up to 2 years.
