About this Event

Presented by Brad Fierro - Civil Ferments

Stretch your garden harvest while adding flavor and health. Join Brad and a team of microorganisms for an evening of demonstration and discussion on fermenting garden vegetables. Participants will make their own sauerkraut and other garden ferments while learning the science and safety behind the methods.

We are also offering workshops on freezing produce, water bath canning and pressure canning! These workshops are held at the South Lansing Community Development Center (behind St Casimir's Church) in southside Lansing, and will have the same content as the series run in partnership with the Allen Neighborhood Center.
