Ever wanted colorful and sleek dishes of food? Maybe you wanted to level up your food photograpy game or how to style your plates better? Join Freelancers Union and ASMP NY where Megan Madden will go through best practices for food photography.
Attendees will walk away with a general understanding of a basic food photo shoot with studio lighting. She will breakdown her workflow, recommend key tools to include in your styling kit and provide industry insight.
Key learning outcomes:
1. General photo production workflow when working with food
2. Styling toolkit recommendations
3. Simple steps for building a composition with food and studio light
4. Basic image/gif composite in Photoshop
About the Instructor:
Megan Madden is a commercial food photographer and stop motion animator. She works with food brands and agencies to create still and motion imagery for product launches, ad campaigns, packaging, rebrands, and more. Her work focuses on the balance of texture, color, and thoughtful composition. Some of her clients include Olipop, Truly Hard Seltzer, Chamberlain Coffee, and Fly By Jing
