Want to find ways to teach kids about healthy eating habits?
We'll be joined by Apple Seeds Inc for a multigenerational program featuring fun, education, and hands-on practice that you get to eat!
While the little kiddos are engaged in a veggie-themed Storytime, parents will learn simple, practical tips on the importance of nutritious meals, getting five servings of fruits/veggies a day, and fun ways to cook with kids. Parents and children will then come back together to prepare and enjoy two nutritious recipes: Colorful Black Bean Salad and Rainbow Fruit Kabobs!
