A History of Impact
The first film in this series, The Working Hungry, brought food insecurity to the forefront in Indiana, revealing the hidden struggles of working families. With over 65 community screenings and conversations across the state, it sparked awareness, policy discussions, and action toward systemic change. Food, Insecure builds on this momentum, providing new data, fresh stories, and a call to action to address the barriers that perpetuate hunger.
Why This Matters
Food insecurity affects Hoosiers of all ages, backgrounds, and geographic areas—undermining health, education, and economic opportunity. Events like this community screening and conversation provide a platform to identify real solutions, connect partners, and inspire action toward a more equitable, food-secure Indiana.
