Explore an exciting world where food, creativity and hands-on discovery come together! Learners will experiment, create and play while exploring cooking, movement and problem solving. Each day blends sensory experiences, teamwork and creativity, giving students a chance to imagine, build and share their culinary ideas. The week culminates in a fun showcase where learners celebrate their creations and discoveries.
K–2 Grades: Food is Fun
Young learners will explore the exciting world of food through hands-on, sensory-rich experiences. They’ll mix, taste and create while learning how food connects to energy and movement, linking active play and sports to fun, creative experiences in the kitchen.
3–5 Grades: Food Explorers
Students will dive into the world of food through playful experiments and investigations, exploring flavors, textures and simple kitchen techniques. They’ll also see how food fuels activity and movement and begin to think like young entrepreneurs as they explore how food can be created, shared and enjoyed by others.
6–8 Grades: Culinary Chemistry
Middle school learners will investigate the science behind food and cooking while exploring problem solving, teamwork and movement-based challenges. Learners will experiment with ingredients and techniques, consider how food businesses operate and discover how creativity, science and active collaboration come together to make food exciting both on the plate and in the marketplace.
Recommended Ages: K-8th grade
This learning opportunity will be limited to 15 students per age group.
Cost: $225 (Members), $250 (Nonmembers)
A $50 deposit is required to hold your learner's spot. Payment plans are available if taking 2 or more Summer learning opportunities.
Registration Deadline: May 22, 2026
The morning meeting begins at 9 a.m., and all learners should be picked up by 4:15 p.m. Students may register for early bird drop off and midnight owl pick up (8 a.m.-5:30 p.m.) for an additional $10 per student per day. A late fee of $5 will be applied for any learner not enrolled who isn’t picked up by 4:30 p.m.
