In today’s world there is a barrage of information around what we should eat, the supplements and herbs we should take and all the ‘must do’ practices that are necessary for our health. Just one look at a magazine covers at the supermarket shouting out the latest weight loss diet, how to be happy, and ‘must have’ wellbeing hacks … you know what I’m talking about!It can be overwhelming!
I’m here to tell you it doesn’t have to be complicated, you don’t need to take masses of expensive supplements, and you don’t need to tie yourself in knots doing all the right things.
Eating and being well is simple.
Hint: and enjoyable.
Food for thought covers the basics of eating well for your lifestyle and includes simple micro lifestyle habits to give you more pep in your step and feel good.
The talk will consist of a presentation followed by time Q&A.

About your host
Ali is a degree qualified clinical naturopath and medical herbalist and holder of the best clinical practitioner award. She has a pragmatic approach to natural medicine with a clear focus on helping her clients to thrive via food-first nutrition and doable lifestyle practices. Prior to becoming a naturopath Ali’s career history spanned many years in the food industry. She is a mum to two teens and a middle-aged staffy, and shares a lifestyle regeneration project property with her husband and family in north-west Auckland.
