About this Event
"Food for Thought" is a peer based social wellness club. A space for those who want to create and build community. If you're seeking a space to come connect through shared experiences this is the place for you!
My name is Shaunai, I'm a 200-Hour certified yoga instructor, with a 12-Hour certification in trauma-informed yoga. I am an advocate for accessible mental health and enforcer of the importance of community.
My hope with "Food for Thought" is to come together once a month to discuss various social issues or personal struggles. Together we'll share thoughts, feelings and goals, to help us feel connected and spark creativity and inspiration. I hope this community group helps you to feel less alone, make a new friend and/or inspires you to create.

Info: Guest will arrive. Host will lead a short 2-3 minute intention setting meditation. Upon completion of meditation, host will then introduce the social topic / theme.

Info: Everyone in the group has a moment to share their experience with the topic of the day to get a conversation flowing. Being respectful of each other is essential. The discussion allows us to hear each other’s words and share thoughts and experiences.
